More Typographic Walk Poster Ideas

Here are some more ideas i had for the type tour poster in the strand.

Most of these ideas were just experiments in trying out some techniques in using different type, effects and tools.

I like this idea i have created but i don’t think it will suit the target audience which is young designers because although it does catch your eye with the vibrance of red in the poster but i think its a bit messy for final production.

I especially like this idea by where i placed all the type in a 30 degree angle as well as i like the way i separate the images from the main text and i did this to fix people mainly to the text and not the image and thats why the images are blurred a bit. the reason i thought that this poster wasn’t good enough for final production is because i didn’t think it would suit the target audience as young designers would most likely find it not interesting compared to more colourful posters that stand out and are different.

Here is one of my favourite ideas that i have created out the lot and it is my favourite because it is eye-catching, simple and easy to read as well as it is very clean. i personally think that young designers would more likely be attracted to posters like this. The reason that i didn’t choose this for my final piece is because although it was clean and simple, i thought it wasn’t different and creative creative enough so for my final piece i worked on from this poster idea and added some difference in it to make it different and stand out.

Here is another poster idea i had and the reason i didn’t use this poster for my final piece is because although it is different and colourful, i just thought it was too messy and that you couldn’t really see the images that were in the diamonds behind the text. i think that if i did use this as my final piece, the target audience which is young designers would like it as it is different and colourful as well as its something you don’t see everyday but i doubt the poster would get enough attention to the audience for them to come to the event as they couldn’t see the images that i took down the strand. i personally think if that the audience can’t see the images of the venue then i think that the audience wouldn’t go to it and wouldn’t be interested at all.
